Update: No More “Organic Local” – Google Desktop Organic Terms Simplified

Following last week’s change (Google shutting down local domains) and the move to Google com + location + language terms (location/language now mandatory), we’re simplifying things further in Pro Rank Tracker:

 

 

The “Organic Local” Term type is removed

From now on, all Google organic Terms will simply be “Organic”

 

What does it mean?

  • All Google Desktop Organic Terms are now “Organic”, whether without a location (as was previously possible) or with a location (now mandatory).

 

  • No action is required – Terms previously shown as Organic Local will now appear as Organic (with a green icon instead of blue).

 

  • Filters – We’ve added a “No Location” option to the Location section of filters site-wide, so you can still differentiate between Terms with and without a location.

 

  • Bulk Add Import files have been updated – if you use them regularly, make sure to download the latest versions.
