Welcome to ProRankTracker! Here\u2019s a 10-step quick guide to help you have a smooth start and find your way around easily<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

1. Have a look at the\u00a0left navigation menu<\/b>. This menu includes the following sections:
\nRankings<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 where you can view your rankings data in different ways
\nReports<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 where you can generate and manage your reports
\nManage<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 you can manage the account\u2019s URLs, Groups, Tags, Saved Filters, and Trash.
\nAdd to Track<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 you can add URLs and terms to be tracked. Two methods are available \u2013 wizard and advanced add.
\nTools<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 you can discover terms your sites are already ranked for with the Rankings discovery tool and get keyword suggestions. You can also find the API documentation here if your plan has API access.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

2. Now let\u2019s start with adding your first URLs and terms to be tracked. From the left menu, click on\u00a0Add Wizard<\/b>\u00a0(in the Add to Track section).<\/p>\n

There are various options, but we\u2019ll stick with the basic stuff, for now, to understand how things work.<\/p>\n

Add a New URL to be tracked, add the keywords below and click Next.
\nYou can use the Groups section to group URLs and Tags to group Terms (keywords). Users can use them later on to filter views and reports. You can add it now or revisit those options later.<\/p>\n

In the second step, you can track Desktop, Android, or iPhone results and decide on which search You can select one or more options. Please note that each combination will be counted and displayed as a different term.
\nBelow select the local search engine, a location, and a language.
\nClick Save.<\/p>\n

While PRT is checking your data, let\u2019s check some other areas of the tool.

3.\u00a0PRT settings<\/b>: Click the wheel icon at the top right and then \u2013 PRT Settings.
\nIn the \u201cGeneral\u201d section, select your time zone from the list.
\nTo match your preference, you can switch the appearance from light mode to dark mode on the right. You can also change the interface and reports language if you want.
\nNote that the appearance modes and language can also be instantly changed from under the wheel icon at the top right.\"screenshot\"<\/a>Charts Scale under the \u201cReports\u201d section is also something you may want to update now. It determines how you see charts site-wide \u2013 Linear (same weight for all rankings) or Logarithmic (More weight given to top rankings).<\/p>\n

If you have a logo, you can upload it on the Custom logo part under the \u201cWhite Label\u201d section, so you can start white-labeling your reports.<\/p>\n

4. To the right of the wheel icon in the top-right corner, you\u2019ll find the\u00a0account (user) icon<\/b>\u00a0with the account and billing options under it.
\nOn the\u00a0question mark icon<\/b>,<\/b>\u00a0you\u2019ll find all the help options to help you with any problem or question you may have. There, you\u2019ll find the ticket and chat support, a link to book 1-on-1 training, an extensive FAQ knowledge base, Tutorials, and video tutorials.

5. Now, let\u2019s go back to the\u00a0URL View<\/b>\u00a0and see if the URL we have added to be tracked is already updated with rankings. From the left menu, click the URL View under Rankings.<\/p>\n

The URL View is the \u201cmain\u201d page of our tool. It shows all of your terms rankings ordered by URL.
\nAt the top, if you click on Filter, you can filter the data shown on the page.
\nTo its right, if you click on Download, it allows you to instantly create an overview report from this page with the data you see. You can find those reports later on in Reports Center under Overview reports.<\/p>\n

Below the filter and download section, there\u2019s the stats box.
\nIn the Stats box, you\u2019ll find 24-hour\/7-day\/30-day changes in your rankings and how many terms are currently ranking in the different rank ranges (#1,#2-3,#4-10,#11-20,#21-100,#100+).

6. Then there\u2019s a\u00a0box for each tracked URL<\/b>. Inside this box, you\u2019ll see the rankings and other data for each term. By default, only four terms are previewed. You can click to show all by clicking at the bottom-right of each table to expand it and see all terms.
\nChecking the checkboxes at the left of the terms displays five icons at the bottom-left of the table with a few actions you can apply on the selected terms.The default columns you see are: Type, Term, Indexed URL (as it appears in the search engine), Term Combination (includes local and mobile settings), Rank (the current rank), Day (yesterday\u2019s rank), Week (a week ago rank), Month (a month ago rank), Volume L (Local search volume) and Trend (30-day progress chart).These columns are displayed by default.\u00a0It\u2019s not all\u00a0<\/b>the columns you can display<\/b>,\u00a0<\/b>and you can also change the order of the columns. To do that, click on the \u201cColumns & Sorting<\/b>\u201d button above.<\/p>\n

Under the Rank column, you\u2019ll see if the ranks have already been If not, try refreshing the page in a couple of minutes.
\nThe rest of the rankings columns (Day, Week, Month) will get populated with time.

7. At the section below the stats and above the URL boxes, there are:\"screenshot\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Bulk Actions:<\/b>\u00a0several actions you can make on URLs and terms by selecting their checkboxes first and then applying the action.

\nColumns & Sorting<\/b>: click the button, and on this window, you can \u2013change the order of the URLs boxes on the page (URLs order by), change the order of the terms in the inner tables (terms order by), select\/deselect columns to be displayed on this page and change the order of the columns by dragging and dropping the columns boxes.<\/p>\n

When clicking any of the columns boxes here, you\u2019ll see a number. The order is left to right from 1 to 19, and up to 12 columns can be selected.<\/p>\n

Besides the default columns, you\u2019ll find more columns you can activate here:
\nTitle (the title as it appears on the search engine), Base (first tracked rank), Top (highest tracked rank), Language, Location, Engine, Device, Volume G (Global search volume), and Tags.<\/p>\n

At the right of this section, you can change the number of terms displayed per page and show all or preview on the entire page (all URL boxes).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

8. Clicking on the small\u00a0Trend charts<\/b>\u00a0opens a window that shows you the term\u2019s rankings progress (Ranks History Graph). You can also easily change the date range you want to see on that window.<\/p>\n

For a more detailed daily progress view, click on the\u00a0Daily View\u00a0<\/b>under Rankings on the left menu.

9. At the top-left, you\u2019ll find an eye icon (quick view) and a general search.<\/p>\n

Clicking on the\u00a0eye icon<\/b>\u00a0allows you to quickly access URLs, Groups, Tags, and Saved filters on URL view, Terms on term view, and view Reports.<\/p>\n

The general\u00a0search<\/b>\u00a0allows you to start typing, and after the first three characters, get results quickly to view URLs, Groups, Tags, Saved Filters, Terms, and Reports.

10. One last important page to notice is the\u00a0Manage URLs\u00a0<\/b>from the left menu.<\/p>\n

Here you\u2019ll see a list of all of your tracked URLs, when each was added, how many terms it has (active\/trashed), and the Groups it\u2019s included in. Also, when you hover over each URL Row, you\u2019ll have quick access at the right to several tools and reports – URL view, Daily view, Full SERPs, Rankings Discovery, and Keyword Suggestions already filtered with this URL.<\/p>\n

You will find Edit URL, Add new terms, and Delete URL options to the far right.\"screenshot\"<\/a><\/p>\n
